The sequential style of the visual narrative reminded me of Lynd Ward’s woodcut visual novel, Mad Man’s Drum. Check out this visionary artist’s quality of pre-LSD inspired books that are all the more remarkable having been executed through the arduous medium of wood cuts; truly ahead of his time and deliciously mind blowing.

Thanks, William. The woodcut novels of Lynd Ward have been a big influence on this story from the beginning. Also, Winsor McCay.
