Hello- I actually designed the base of the Nexicon Portal that is portrayed in your illustrations. It was a collaboration for which I have yet to receive credit. as you can imagine it is a little frustrating. I would very much appreciate to be credited in this piece. Also, I am not sure what your knowledge of copywright law is, but it is illegal for you to make derivative works of another artist’s creations for profit. I am not saying this because I wish to pursue and legal action with you, but it is something to consider as you continue to work in this vein. I just happen to be learning a lot about this right now and thought I’d share. Beautiful illustrations, keep up the good work.
Thanks, Rebecca. I’m compiling a full list of credits for the print version, and I’ll make a point to include you for the Nexicon Portal. I’m hoping to get permission from all of the designers before going to print, we’ll see how it goes… The first collection will wrap in the next few episodes. Thanks again for reading, and thanks also for your input. This is a foray into unchartered territory for me, so I appreciate your thoughts.
